About Us

Parknee Cavaliers was established in 1999 after the Cavalier breed stole our hearts. We are a family living on a rural property “Kalarnee Park” just west of Texas on the QLD/NSW border. We are not a kennel as such, rather our dogs are much-loved family pets involved in the day-to-day activities of farm life.

At Kalarnee Park our aim is to breed sound, healthy dogs that are raised in the clean country air and are well socialized as great companions for all ages.

We are Registered Breeders with Dog’s QLD and all dogs are DNA tested for genetic diseases. We have carefully chosen quality bloodlines which exhibit good breed standards. All of our dogs are allowed to be dogs, we let them run through the paddocks and swim in the dams. They become accustomed to all farm animals and small children from an early age. Have fun exploring this site and please call or email us to learn more about this special breed of dog.

Thank you for visiting.

Extensive research into the history of our breeding dogs has been done and is available to potential buyers. We only breed a select number of litters per year and we maintain our dogs in a suitable and homely environment on our property.

Foster and Adopt

Over the years I have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed a number of unwanted Cavaliers. Fostering to adopt is a great way to see if a dog is right for you and your family before committing to adoption. If this is something you would be interested please fill in the Expression of Interest Form noting that you are interested in fostering to adopt.

“It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them and every new dog who comes into my life gives me a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog and i will become as generous and as loving as they are.”  – Unknown
